Scott is a regular at the Byron markets and comes from a food background. He is one of those people that always has a smile on their face.  There can never be too many smilers!! Australian Bush Spices is Scotts other baby!
About Scott;

Australian Bush Spices commenced Byron market trading in January 2008.
Since then Scott Foster has established his locally produced spice blends as a locals favourite.
“My aim was to source out the best of our native herbs and spices and package them in easy to use stylish tins. Bringing the native bushfood’s into everyday style of cooking was the idea, to make them really user friendly. We have packaged these 80g tins with full instructions for use on the back, a recommendation for a style of Australian wine and a link to a website with loads of recipe ideas. The spices have 12 months shelf life and are in fully sealed bags inside the tins so they make for the perfect gift here or overseas. With the added incentive of being gluten free, preservative and sugar free, they are a healthy gift also.”

RED great for BBQ’s or roasting red meat.WHITE peppers up chicken with a lemon burst.

BLUE
adds a citrus burst to fresh fish.

YELLOW
dukkah, great with freshly baked bread.

ORANGE
curry powder will spice up any style of dish.

GREEN
sprinkled over a salad it will leave you wanting to eat more greens.

 

 

Having established a local reputation, Australian Bush Spices is now aiming Australia wide. After winning two bronze medals at the 2008 Royal Sydney Show, Regional fine food, one for the RED blend and one for the YELLOW blend, the word was starting to spread.

Now with representation in NSW, QLD, VIC, ACT and NT, Australian Bush Spices is another quality product from the Northern Rivers region.
